It is in this quiet little harbor with colourful wooden houses (nice photography subjects) that really begins the discovery of the wild Chilean Patagonia. Very busy during the austral summer, 18h daily light, Puerto Natales has no great interest in itself, but is located at the edge of a fjord and facing the lasts – and superb – Andean mountains.

View of Punta Arenas from the Mirador
I arrived in Punta Arenas on a typical Patagonian windy day. Just prior our landing I saw from my window a small island with only what I believed to be a church on top of it. I took a few pictures. Little I knew it was in fact La Isla Magdalena. The island is the breeding location for several species of seabirds, most notably the Magellanic penguin.

As Catedrais beach translates as ‘Beach of the Cathedrals’.
It is the turistic name of Praia de Augas Santas (‘Beach of the Holy Waters’). The Spanish beach is located in the Ribadeo municipality, in the province of Lugo (Galicia), on the Cantabric coast, and it lies about ten kilometres to the west from the town of Ribadeo. Its name is derived from the formations of its cliffs.

27 metres high and 40 metres in diameter, it’s about the size of the dome of Saint Peter’s in Rome! A unique visual landmark by day and by night, the Globe of Science and Innovation is a symbol of Planet Earth.

Paléo Festival 2012
The Paléo Festival is the largest music festival in Switzerland and it takes place in Nyon near lake Geneva. It’s a solid mix of music from all genres, good food from all the world, visual and plastic arts. Unlike other festivals, you can take your camera which is unique and very clever from the organisers. I even took my tripod this year. Enough writing, here are the pics..
Budapest

Travel video for YouTube | Dubaï
This is a long due video. My trip to Dubaï finally got his own video. I wasn’t very inspired by it, the city is so artificial and nothing really interested me to be honest, no story. So why I went there you may ask? Well, there was several reasons to it but I’m not going to comment on that. Let’s say that I had a very cheap air fare to go. It wasn’t very long, just 2 nights and back to Switzerland. I made this video which is very contemplative and on a point of view mode.
